We’ve written about the importance of your online reviews before, but this subject is so important, we’ve made it the subject again for this week’s email.  Today, it’s so easy to research online that almost all potential new customers do some research before purchasing or calling for your services.

  • 91% regularly read online reviews before purchasing
  • 84% trust online reviews as much as a personal recommendation
  • 68% form an opinion after reading between 1 and 6 online reviews

Research is as simple as reading reviews or checking star ratings.  A star rating of only 3 out of 5 stars is enough to drive potential new customers away.  Even 4.5 stars is now considered nominal.  Typically, your reviews will be listed along with competitors, so it’s important that you have a very high star rating and a similar number of reviews as your competitors.
